Prepare for a monumental evening of vocal brilliance. Ammolite Opera proudly announces The Voice of a Tenor, a mesmerizing two-night recital featuring multi-platinum, JUNO Award-winning tenor Remigio Pereira and internationally acclaimed conductor and pianist Maria Fuller. This rare, intimate event will take over the Engineered Air Theatre at Calgary’s Werklund Centre on August 20 and 21.
Described by the Edmonton Sun as possessing "real opera chops" and a "spine-tingling" presence, Pereira’s resume reads like a history of modern musical greatness. As a former co-founder and key creative force behind the internationally renowned group The Tenors, Remigio has delivered five commanding performances at Windsor Castle, enjoyed tea with the Queen, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and shared the stage with global icons including Céline Dion, Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, and Sting.

Scored for a vocal octet and piano string quintet.
